Toasted Pound Cake Strawberry Sundae

Take your strawberry sundae one step further by adding toasted pound cake.

  1. Toast two slices of thawed pound cake in toaster on lightest setting until lightly browned.
  2. Add a scoop vanilla ice cream.
  3. Top with sliced strawberries
  4. Drizzle with chocolate sauce (optional)

  1. I have made this, but I used a frying pan with a little butter and made the toasted version.Then added the fruit strawberries,juices which will soak the pound cake and Cool Whip . It was so good that we all were hooked. = 1. Have the thawed pound cake and slice it kinda thick.But
    not really thick. Similar to a thin magazine.
    2. Butter the pound cake on both sides like your toasted a cheese
    sandwich. I did 3 per person. I used soften butter easier.
    3. Add to you hot skillet, you’ll start to smell it, say 2 min unless you
    like it darker. 4. Add your fruit topping and the Cool Whip, and eat. 5. Seconds anyone.
