  1. I am having a hard time finding SL Butter Streusel Coffee Cake in grocery stores lately. Are you still making and distributing this product?? It has been my favorite since childhood and I am hoping there is a way I can still buy it! I’ll buy direct from the company if necessary! Could you please let me know which stores are still carying it? I’ve asked my local grocery store to order it, and they say it is not available anymore.

  5. Hi, Steve – Here are the directions for Sara Lee Oven Fresh Dutch Apple Pie:

Important: Store in freezer until ready to bake. Microwaving not recommended.

    1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
    2. Remove frozen pie from carton; remove overwrap.
    3. With fork, break up streusel topping and spread evenly over pie.
    4. Place frozen pie on baking sheet on center rack of oven.
    5. Bake pie at 400 F 60-65 minutes until crimped edges are golden brown. (Ovens vary. Adjust time and temperature as necessary.) Baking tip: check pie after 45 minutes. If necessary, cover edges of crust with aluminum foil to avoid excess browning. Do not cover center of pie.
    6. Remove baked pie from oven while it’s still on the baking sheet. Caution: never handle pie by the edges! Filling is hot.
    7. Cool pie on baking sheet before cutting and serving: 45 minutes for warm pie, 2 hours for cool pie. Covered, baked pie portions will keep fresh 2 days at room temperature or 4 days if refrigerated.
